Yuzu & Green Chilli Prawn Noodle Salad
Crunchy, refreshing, spicy, and zesty in all of the right places, this simple prawn and noodle salad recipe makes for a great starter or lunch item. Made with Mizkan Yuzu & Green Chilli Sauce, it has an authentic Japanese flavour that is sure to impress your guests.
- 3 tbsp Mizkan Yuzu & Green Chilli Sauce, plus extra for dressing
- 200g large raw prawns
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 400g udon noodles
- 1 carrot, ribboned
- 1/2 cucumber, ribboned
- Handful of sugar snap peas, sliced
- 1 fresh chilli, sliced (optional)
- Sesame seeds, to garnish
- Heat a wok or large frying pan, then add the oil and stir fry the prawns for a few minutes.
- Add the Mizkan Yuzu & Green Chilli Sauce to the pan and continue to cook until the prawns are evenly coated and turning golden and sticky.
- Place the noodles in a large bowl with the carrot ribbons, cucumber, sugar snap peas, fresh chilli, and sesame seeds.
- Drizzle over extra sauce to coat the noodles and toss together well.
- Serve in the noodles in bowls topped with the prawns, with a final drizzle of Mizkan Yuzu & Green Chilli Sauce.
