Poke Sauce Recipe

This easy recipe makes the perfect sauce for poke bowls! Full of rich umami and delicious tang, it's ideal for dressing diced tuna, salmon, and any of your favourite raw fish. Made with Mizkan Pickling Liquid, it's the recipe that every poke kitchen needs!

For the sauce

  • 45ml soy sauce
  • 10ml sesame oil
  • 10ml Mizkan Pickling Liquid
  • 5g honey
  • 5g fresh grated ginger
  • 3g freshly grated garlic

For the toppings

  • 50g sushi grade fish
  • Fresh avocado, diced
  • 1 shiso leaf
  • 50g pineapple, diced
  • 50g cucumber, sliced
  • Chili flakes, to taste
  • 3g sesame seeds
  1. In a small bowl, whisk all the sauce ingredients together until fully incorparted.
  2. Toss with diced raw sushi grade fish of your choice i.e. salmon or tuna and let sit 10 minutes to incorporate the flavours.
  3. Serve the dressed fish over rice.
  4. Top with your choice of avocado, shiso, pineapple, cucumber, sesame, Chilli flakes.
